Choose how many frames per second the GIF plays at (10–24 FPS), the output width, and quality. For most uses, 12 FPS and 640px is a great balance.

WebP is a modern image format developed by Google that supports both static and animated images with much better compression than GIF. However, GIF has universal compatibility — it works in every browser, chat app, and email client without any player. That's why converting WebP to GIF is still useful for sharing.
Yes. If you have an animated WebP file, upload it as part of your image sequence in GifPaw. Alternatively, export each WebP frame individually and upload them together — GifPaw will stitch them into a smooth animated GIF.
GIF supports a maximum of 256 colors per frame, while WebP supports full color depth. For images with many colors (photos, gradients), you'll see some color reduction. For graphics, icons, and illustrations with limited colors, the quality will be nearly identical. Use the "High" quality setting to minimize color loss.
Each uploaded WebP image should be under 10 MB. You can upload multiple files in a single batch. The combined frame sequence will be processed server-side and returned as a single GIF.
